Sangram Singh Rajput had long struggled with chronic asthma, a condition that severely impacted his quality of life. Despite trying numerous medical treatments, nothing brought lasting relief. In 1999, his healing journey took a new direction when his relative, Devisingh, introduced him to Agnihotra, an ancient Vedic fire ritual known for its therapeutic effects.
Agnihotra involves offering cow dung, ghee, and rice into a sacred fire at precise moments—sunrise and sunset—while chanting Vedic mantras. Devisingh, a firm believer in its benefits, urged Mr. Sangram to adopt Agnihotra as part of his daily routine.
Mr. Sangram began practicing Agnihotra regularly at his home in Latur, Maharashtra. In addition to performing the ritual, he consumed the ash produced from the fire, which is traditionally regarded in Ayurveda as having medicinal properties.
Within months, Sangram saw marked improvement. His asthma symptoms gradually subsided, and his dependency on medication significantly decreased. By 2001, after two years of regular Agnihotra practice and consuming the ash, he was completely cured of asthma.
Sangram credits Agnihotra for not only curing his asthma but also bringing him mental and spiritual harmony. His experience highlights the transformative potential of Agnihotra as a natural remedy for chronic illnesses.
